The Council’s energy services partner, Bouygues, given “A” rating on prestigious Carbon Disclosure Project list

Bouygues Group has been recognised by the Carbon Disclosure Project as achieving Climate Change A List status. The CDP recognises Bouygues as a company actively fighting climate change and it now joins the top ranks with a few other companies. Of the 6,900 entrants that applied  to join the A list, only 2% of applicants made it!  The Carbon Disclosure Project is a  global disclosure system that enables companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their environmental impacts.

Bouygues joins other major companies such as Apple Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Hyundai, Electrolux and  National Grid PLC on the list. See the full list here. (https://www.cdp.net/en/scores)

Cambridgeshire County Council has partnered with Bouygues Energies & Services since 2014 to implement a wide variety of energy saving and energy generating projects in schools, office buildings and farm land.  In 2018, we started an exciting new chapter with Bouygues developing several solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects on Council assets.  See other pages within mlei.co.uk for more information on our investment projects.
