The Energy Investment Unit, in partnership with Bouygues E&S, have completed or are in the process of completing energy efficiency and generation work in 35 locations across the County
Since procuring Bouygues Energies and Services in August 2014, the Energy Investment Unit has worked in dozens of locations across the County. The projects include measures that reduce the energy schools and public buildings use; as well as generate low-carbon electricity or heat via solar photovoltaic or biomass boilers. The program was initially supported by a grant from Intelligent Energy Europe from 2012 to 2015. The unit is now looking to expand its energy ambitions into new areas around the County.
